Seller Center reports on Walmart. It does not report on your business.

Walmart Marketplace gives you real numbers, and it has been adding dashboards quickly. What it cannot do is show Walmart next to everything else you sell through, or hold a long enough run of daily history to see a trend. So the numbers get pulled into a spreadsheet, and the spreadsheet gets rebuilt every week.

History that keeps building
  • It rolls off. Walmart stores orders in the Order Management dashboard for up to 90 days, and the Orders API returns only the last 180.
  • It accumulates. We load what Walmart still holds the day you connect, then keep every day after that, so your history grows instead of ageing out.
Daily numbers over a long period
  • Fifteen days at a time. The item performance report caps a daily-granularity request at 15 days, so a year of daily figures means stitching together roughly 25 separate reports.
  • One continuous series. Order count, gross sales and units sold are daily figures from the day you connect, charted over any span you want to look at.
From a number to the orders behind it
  • A separate download. Order-level detail comes from a requested report, and Walmart retains a generated report for 30 days before it expires.
  • Click the number. Open any figure to the orders behind it, with purchase order, order date, product sales, order total, units and line count.
The period you actually want
  • Fixed windows. Refund, cancellation and on-time-delivery reporting offers 14, 30, 60 or 90 day buckets rather than the period you are asking about.
  • Your calendar. Any date range you choose, rolled up by day, week, month or quarter in your workspace timezone.
One report, every channel
  • Walmart Marketplace only. The data is real, but your web store, your other marketplaces and your accounting each report somewhere else.
  • Blended for you. A BlinkMetrics analyst builds the dashboards and puts your marketplace orders next to the rest of the business.

What BlinkMetrics reads from your Walmart Marketplace account

You add a Client ID and Secret once from the Walmart Developer Portal. From then on, your orders and returns sync automatically.

  • Orders, order lines, returns and your item catalog. Synced into your own data warehouse, as far back as Walmart's order window allows on the day you connect.
  • Four ready-made metrics. Order Count, Gross Sales and Units Sold by order date, and Return Count by return date, with Return Count scored so that fewer is better.
  • Click any number to see the orders. Every metric opens to the rows behind it, and returns open to return order, status, refund total and line count.
  • Agency ready. Agencies and consultants get a separate set of dashboards for each client brand, and each client can connect their own account through a shareable link without a login.

Read-only by design. BlinkMetrics only reads from your seller account. It does not change listings, prices, inventory or orders, and you can revoke the credentials at any time from the Walmart Developer Portal.

Questions from Walmart Marketplace sellers

What to know before you connect your seller account to BlinkMetrics.

  • What Walmart Marketplace data does BlinkMetrics pull?

Your orders, order lines, returns and item catalog, through the Walmart Marketplace APIs. Your dashboards start with four metrics: Order Count, Gross Sales and Units Sold by order date, and Return Count by return date.

  • How far back does my order history go?

As far back as Walmart allows. Walmart's Orders API returns only the last 180 days, so that is what we load when you connect. From then on your history keeps building with us, instead of ageing out as Walmart's window moves forward.

  • Will the numbers match Seller Center exactly?

Not always, and we would rather tell you why up front. Gross Sales counts product charges only, so it leaves out shipping and tax, and it excludes cancelled and refunded units. When an order is refunded later, we apply that back to the day the order was placed. Seller Center reports sales before refunds, so the two will not agree on a day that contains a refunded order. Every metric opens to the orders behind it, so you can always see how a figure was built.

  • Do you pull fees, profit, advertising or inventory?

No. This connection covers orders, units and returns. It does not pull referral or fulfillment fees, settlement data or profit. Walmart advertising lives in Walmart Connect Ad Center, a separate product, and stock levels are not part of this connection today. If profit reporting is what you need, say so on the call and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

  • How often does it sync?

At least once every 18 hours. Walmart Marketplace order data is daily-grained, so syncing more often does not make the numbers any fresher. If you need to watch sales hour by hour, Seller Center is the better place to look.

  • What do I need to get started?

A Client ID and Secret from the Walmart Developer Portal, which you generate from your seller account. There is no software to install. Book a call, add the credentials, and our team builds your dashboards. If someone else administers the account, we can send them a link that lets them connect it without a BlinkMetrics login.

  • We are an agency. Can we report on several client brands?

Yes. Each client brand gets its own dashboards, and each client connects their own seller account.

Ready to see Walmart next to everything else?

Stop rebuilding the same report out of downloads. We build your Walmart Marketplace dashboard for you and blend it with the rest of your business, so every channel shows up in one place.
